When he was an actual child, he met you when he was touring the factory. You were with one of the scientists while he was visiting the game station, the scientist in question introduced you to the boy.

“Ah, hello there buddy. Having fun? Great, this is Y/n. One of our many orphans who successfully has gotten adopted, isn’t that right Y/n?”

You didn’t expect to see a kid who wasn’t an orphan to this place, so you were a little surprised by his appearance in a place like this.

Jack beamed at the sight of you and waved at you happily and introduced himself to you, you said hello back and tried to do the same but sadly the scientist decided that was enough talking between the both of you and dragged you away from the little kid.

Jack was upset but didn’t mind much, you must’ve been pretty busy going to meet your new adopted parents.

Thats what all the kids thought.

Then he went into the vat room and we all know what happened next.

After being created into Doey for a while Jack eventually got somewhat used to traveling as a large blob of dough, but one day while Matthew was in charge of Doey he came across a vhs tape, placing it into the vcr which had the following script:

“This recording is a check-in on experiment 1399. Subject was recently transferred into the toy known as “Pj-pugapillar,” birth name, Y/n L/n. Subject seems confused and weary whenever scientists go in to do physical studies on them, perhaps it’s just 1399s natural reaction to that sort of stuff. Other than that 1399 seems stable enough to be brought into the Game Station, we thinks it’s the best option for now so Y/n could get a sense of familiarity within the place and their current position-”

The tape ended there, to Matthews dismay. He himself had little to no recollection of who you were. Perhaps it was just fuzzy memories of the past for him, but Jack remembered you. Your name, last name, you said both when you introduced yourself to him, maybe it was just a one sided attachment but Jack some reason felt so comfortable talking with you even if you both just met and it was for a small amount of time.

He was absolutely devastated, not only was Pj one of if not his favorite toy out of Playcare, he also believed you were safe from all this mess. He thought that you went home to a warm and welcoming family. But he guessed wrong apparently.

The whole ordeal made his emotions go out of hand, worse than Kevin even. And while, unlike Kevin who acted out of anger and hatred, Jack started to act out from grief and fear.

It was so bad even Poppy herself got concerned about Doey.

“We need- we need to find them! They’re lonely and hurt! So sorry y/n, so sorry!”

“Doey… do you need to take a break? Who’s Y/n..?”

He wanted to find you badly and tell you everything was going to be okay, but he just didn’t know where to look. Matthew brought up how Pj was always in the game “Statutes” but that was before the Hour of Joy.

Congrats you traumatized Jack a second time, dying and becoming his favorite toy :D

He thought you were just the sweetest when it was just an “orphanage.”

He’d always compare you and Pj alike, such as : “Oh Y/n, you’re so sneaky just like Pj-pugapillar!”

If you’ve ever asked why he always compared the both of you he always would answer “Because you’re my favorite kid here and Pjs my favorite toy here! It’s like it’s meant to be!” And then he’d stupidly ruffled your hair like if you were an actual pug(you smacked him)

But unfortunately, one day your adoption was announced to most of the orphans in Playcare. Most were saddened but none as more as Matthew, he was sad yes. But he was happy for you, he was happy that you were finally going to get a nice family. One to take care of you and protect you for the rest of your life. Oh how wrong he was.

When the time came for his turn to be tested on, or what was vaguely known as “adoption”, almost all he could think about were what happened to the children before him, Kevin, Quinn, Theodore, Marie, and you.

As Doey became well, himself Matthew declared himself as the leader of the 2 other children, he was the one who understood most of what was going on. He eventually found out what happened to said experiments and who they had belonged to now.

He only found out who you turned to be by a document found near an office near the Prison area. It described all possible subjects that could be the official Pj-pugapillar. And your name was the underlined one, scribbled with red.

He almost dropped his normally calm and collected composure. He told Kevin to take over for a bit(and to behave😐) while he just stared into the dark abyss of whatever consciousness had been left over.

After a while he went back in control and decided that it would be good to ask Poppy if she knew about your whereabouts, or even if you were still in this place.

“P..j? Oh uhh, I’m pretty sure Pjs still at the game station, in statues I’d assume. But, if it were me I’d ask the Player. I’m sure he knows, well. Maybe.”

Disappointed by Poppy’s lack of answer Matthew decided that he’d just go carry on with what his normal duties were. He wants to check the Game Station. He really does. But thinking logically the chance of your survival with no food and no guidance is basically zero.

Maybe one day when both you and him pass on into the actual afterlife, he’ll see you again, as a real kid and not a toy masking itself.

Kevin Barnes:

Not sure if Kevin is actually one to play with the toys in Playcare. But you did, that you did. Basically storing the whole collection of each and every toy Playco has ever brought into its factories walls.

Kevin wasn’t as eager as the other orphans were about your collection, but there was one toy he did really enjoy. Pj-pugapillar. Every time you asked Kevin to play with you the very first words that came out of his mouth were that he was going to be playing with Pj. And if not then he wasn’t going to play toys at all. He’d just make you play tag or hide and seek with him.

So naturally you gladly agreed to his deal, sure you liked Pj but there were other toys you were more fond of.

You both were quite used to this routine and while Kevin would rather play physical games such as soccer, tag, or kickball. He had to admit that playing peacefully with you wasn’t as bad as he thought it would’ve been.

Though, one certain day would make that all come to an end.

He was just waking up and getting ready for the day when he saw one of the caretakers standing in his doorway.

“What?”

“This..might be a tad hard to accept, Kevin.”

“What? Go away if you won’t tell me.”

“Y/n has… Y/n has gotten adopted.”

“Y/n?”

“Yes. Last night to be specific.”

He was pissed ngl.

But unluckily for him, he would soon be announced “sick” by some of the scientists. His other friend, Joseph was concerned about him. But once he expressed his concerns to the scientist, it was too late for both Kevin and you.

After the Hour of Joy some of the only thoughts that Kevin had were either about Matthew and Jack, his hatred towards the factory, and sometimes reminiscing about playing with you.

He learned what happened to you through Matthew, Matthew was the most intelligent out of the 3 boys so he normally is the one to update Jack and Kevin about what happens when they aren’t in control.

So by that logic, it’s only natural for Matthew to sadly inform Kevin of where your, or what’s left of your body was. Pj.

Kevin was furious when he learned about what happened to you, Matthew knew that Kevin and you were somewhat close, but he never knew that Kevin would literally crash tf out about it.

All Jack and Matthew heard for the next few hours after he found out was screaming threats to the facility, because as much as Kevin pretended to find you boring, he adored you just as much(which is a lot)

He was so upset he almost caused destruction to Safe Haven and those who inhabited it. But in the end Kevin was comforted by an innocent Jack who had absolutely NO clue who you were, and a grieving Matthew who quietly but solemnly took charge of Doey.

But it’s fine because Kevin got his anger taken out on Pianosaurus!!😚😚😚

I think MC being killed over and over in this timeline is insane bro especially as a child when they were experimenting on her and realized she could die and come back with no memory. I've always thought child experimentation is insane because why are you doing that to a child? My mother actually allowed doctors to study me consistently from the age of 6-17 (they paid her for it) so I've been poked and prodded for a good chunk of my life and it's not fun. I've had so many mri scans, X-rays, needles, treatments, and tests run on me I actually hate hospitals now. I wasn't even sick and I still to this day don't know what they were studying. The only reason they stopped is because I turned 18 and could make my own medical decisions. I could go on and on telling yall what they did to me, but lets not go down that rabbit hole.

Caleb definitely remembers everything and im a firm believer this is why he's messed up in the head. He probably watched her forget him time and time again meanwhile he's also being experimented on and those scientists probably pushed him to the brink of death to see if he was like MC. Im sure he's pissed about it which is why he is hell bent on keeping her safe and I commend him for that his love is from a pure place even if he has trouble expressing it

Xavier - ABSOLUTELY

Thats his whole premise of trying to save MC because he's had to watch her be sacrificed to Philos which is why he doesn't have a good relationship with his dad and also why he doesn't want to be king. He literally will let his planet die to save his baby.

Rafayel - YUMP 100%

He's made comments to MC about her bad memory and how she's forgetting something, but he keeps coming back to make her fall in love with him over and over because he physically, emotionally and mentally can't go against her. He's a lemurian they live and die for love I understand why he cries when he's alone my shayla ☹️

Sylus - DEFINITELY

Sylus has his soul is tied to hers I feel like he might've felt her die over and over throughout the years and he was definitely hurt bad when the shopkeeper told him she was disgusted/afraid of him when they finally met again

I feel like Zayne knows something, but just isn't saying anything because in the 'gift' option for him when he gives mc the jasmine made of ice it feels like he's trying to ask her "are you having dreams of another life like me?"

Love the Shadow art with Yui! Does that mean Yui has to face her Shadow and admit that she actually likes being a girl this time around, arguably more than she ever liked being a boy? Are the others there when she does and, if so, how do they take it?

Yu has always come off as a character who is fully confidant in himself and comfortable with his eccentricities. Its a trait that's reflected well by being the only one who didn't have a shadow to confront in order to unlock his persona.

So- I love NG+ stories. And what inspired me explicitly is how, when playing the game with the FemC mod on.. sometimes, things feel different. Things that are loaded when postured at a female character. Relationships that change heavily because socialization rules shift.

Yu does a lot of things, Yu is praised for a lot of things. Cooking, caring for his sister, being empathetic, loving cats... Yui isn't exemplary for these concepts, not like Yu was. Yui's reaction to this FASCINATES me!

The girls are going to pull her in their direction more. They're going to trust her more then they ever trusted Yu. Yui's going to be praised for bringing "a feminine touch" to the Dojima household- cooking and tending to Nanako are assumed defaults, not exceptions. Dojima not letting her leave at night because it's dangerous for young girls to be out late like that- Yosuke and Kanji are going to keep Yui at an arms length. Even Teddie would change his tune and include Yui in on his bullshit unless it was shot down faster and harder than anyone ever did- and at that point, how much more would change now that Yui is a recipient? She can't join the sports clubs- so is she even able to do her strength arcana link? Ai's relationship shifts from fake boyfriend to something else. Even Yukiko is going to be way more open out the gate and less apprehensive to talk to Yui- and how does that affect the Yuki-Chie dynamic?

Yosuke puts an arm around Yu? Friendly? But touching a girl like that and not being in a relationship.. with his reputation and behavior? the implications are wild. and I have so much fucking brainrot about that NG+ Femc/Yosuke relationship that it could be an essay in it's own right.

All of this is intrinsically fascinating and complex in a way that a normal NG+ or a FemC rewritten story isn't.

Anyway, swinging back:

I think Yu can swing into being Yui well. I think they even enjoy being being Yui more than being Yu... I'm sure it's very freeing for her specifically. But what Yui struggles with most is that Yui isn't Yu. Yui has a whole year of memories, of character development and growth- and now is allowed to be someone she couldn't ever be- and that is what spawns her shadow I think. More than the gender stuff, it's the lying, the hiding of the truth, and the difficuilty of making the call of how far she can rock the train before it derails and she can't save Nanako. How many things can she change or avert? What if saving Saki gets Yosuke killed instead?

Yui loves her friends so much, but how much of Yui is faked in order to make sure this story doesn't derail. How does it all unfold when her shadow lets Yosuke know that Yui knew Saki was going to die..? and how she coudn't say something because what if something worse happens because of it? How much she has to hold back because Kanji's social link suddenly requires much more expression and empathy then it did back then?

I mean, I think Yu/i sometimes lowballs how much the IT loves their leader in return. The truth hurts, but all of their truths hurt. No matter what, they're going to care about her and help her in whatever decision because the conclusion they're going to come to is: "She took time to help us, not once, but twice over. We know her well enough that she's going to do it again. Being anything less than supportive isn't even an option."

After all, the IT will canonically kill someone on Yu's behalf. Being complicit for murder is true friendship.

Wilt clearly did regret murdering their siblings after a while in Purgatory. This isnt them in Purgatory to clarify, as purgatory is a bright & neon orange and full of clouds,, plus we're missing the chain in the head if thats the case ^v^;;

Thanatos was the last planned one to die. Wilt was angry at how long he hid from them, and thanatos ... thanatos didnt know what else to do , especially considering he had a status to mantain and it was rather foolish of him to continue hiding.

Hours before Wilt would arrive to Thanato's palace, thanatos told his guards about framing wilt for murder. The guards looked at him like a crazed man (which, to be fair, he had a right to be going crazy cuz his siblings werent just dead but the other important gods were dying alongside,, he didnt wanna die under the wrath of the god of war. That'd make him look even more foolish than he already saw himself as)

Wilt busted down Thanato's door in his bedroom. Every other room in the palace of his was empty. They opened the curtains to only find his body laying flat—diagonally—on the wooden bed, his bishop clothes still on with a carved off head. His whole skull was visible and still had some blood left on the sockets and bone.

^ Forgot to mention, Wilt wasn't just freaked out at Thanato's still body on the bed. They freaked out because his "ichor" was red. Gods had black, blue, or golden ichor: mortals had just red blood. Wilt realized Thanatos felt every single second of pain from his own suicide.

Causing a panic response in Wilt as planned, they fell to their knees only crying more ichor,, Thanato's guards captured Wilt. It wasn't likely of them to go down without a fight. Areem, one of Thanto's main guards, knew this about Wilt; he prepared a step further, secretly being all the way on the top of the bed, plunging his sword into Wilt's head to go down through their whole body

UMMM. SO. That was what sent Wilt to Purgatory, can also be be referred to as The Above- Areem was the one to then guard Wilt usually in Purgatory. Currently not too sure on what else to mention about these bishops! I did switch the evil's around, though :o) another little fact about Wilt is that their other four legs were cut off so that's why in Purgatory + Follower form they have two legs rather than their original spider form pre-betrayal.

I do wanna add that their actions are inexcusable so ,, even as a follower in goat's cult they're still like. Pretty rude and blunt. Sometimes it's on purpose, but lesser times its not on purpose. The goat genocide happened simultaneously before and after Wilt's death! It took three millenia to eradicate all the goat's left of the warlands, perfect timing for Goat & Ram to die ++ showing up in Wilt's realm (which was another perfect convenience for two siblings to appear, since Thanatos died long ago and his wisdom crown was inactive,, the only crowns Wilt had access to were the crown of famine & the crown of wisdom! (Another thing that explained their changed title after giving goat & ram the crowns of war++wisdom, the god of fear and famine)

About the previous anon regarding the assault ask, i think they meant that we were unable to defend ourself, atleast thats how i view it. It was something that bothered me too. The fact that running away or getting saved are the only options is kinda upsetting. Im sure there are people who dont want to be saved when they are plenty capable of saving themselves, that scenario felt kinda railroady. No need for the MC to be cqc specialist or anything but there are ways to write aroune it. I wanter to ask why it was that way but there was already too much variables in the story and i didnt want to bother you with something less than half of the readers might come across. Trigger topics are no issue for me but the way i see it is content like this making the mc look weak and require saving will upset people and sour their mood for the rest of the story to come. Its better to give options here rather than walking on eggshells, unless its plot relevant ofc. I hope you dont think im being demanding, you did a great job in the demo but this was one part i found issue in when replaying.

Hi anon, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I can understand the thought of prefering your mc not to appear weak. It's not about strong or weak... it's about control indeed.

We have to be - unfortunately - realistic here tho. Before the attacker draws the knife, MC can run. If you ever are theatened with a knife, run. And this is something that would be advised by professionals. Even trained professionals would avoid a confrontation with somebody drawing a knife at all cost, because the risk of injury or death is immensly high. Only if not avoidable there would be a "defend / fight back / unarm" option that might eventually work for a trained and experienced (!) person.

This is not a superhero story or overpowered MC. An MC held at knife-point will have to face consequences if acting out.

Guess, in the end this is my choice as an author. And I hope that is okay 😉

I def don't see an MC fighting back due to realistic risk analysis. No person ending up in such a situation should ever be considered weak. Not the tiniest bit. This can happen to anybody (!). Those 5 years of Krav Maga are not the holy grail. Sry.

He WAS God's first, most loyal and favorite creation, HELL THE REASON HE WAS ALLOWED TO DO WHATEVER HE WANTED AND WAS BASICALLY IMMUNE TO THE LAW IN HEAVEN IS BECAUSE OF HOW MANY PRIVILEGES HE HAS, I don't think God would be too pleased with his soul dissipating or whatever the fuck. That might actually be a plot point, he's way too important to just be killed off like this, am I the only one who got that impression? Something else I want to add is that my personal take on it is that if I learned anything about this show, Lilith will show up in the next season and pretend to be an ally to the hotel, she will pretend to support Charlie and basing this off the theory that Alastor made a deal with Lilith to keep her daughter safe, he failed to meet the end of his deal. So now she's coming to take matters into her own hands after all these pesky men failed, (ermmm girlboss!!) Stop, and manipulate everyone in the hotel into giving up on the idea. Most of these people say that the show explicitly stated that Angelic metal SPECIFICALLY and just if it's metal, it can castrate a soul or whatever. Which is literally NOT true, at no point was it established that Angelic steel was the only thing able to exorcise demons. You really need just a bit of common sense to come to this conclusion, what makes the weapons dangerous for demons and angels isn't that they're steel specifically. It's that they're ANGELIC guys.. Have y'all seen Helluva boss at all?

There are blessed ropes, Angelic guns, Angelic bullets. These are just items that replicate the power of Holy magic. A PURE,HUGE, HOLY BEAM of unfiltered angelic power is not stronger than a little dagger infused with a fraction of it? Not only does that not make sense from the show's lore perspective, but using common SENSE that sounds even dumber. This is the only argument I can completely scratch off the lists of why Adam can't come back, and it's the most popular one...

I didn't see anyone dig him a grave, yet he died on the hotel, I didn't see anyone even move his body after the angels left. And we know damn well they didn't take him, that's too much of a big detail to leave it out unless they REALLY screwed up with the writing and animation direction in the rush to have the serie come out, but the animation has always been so detailed with almost unnecessary background details. I think they left it out intentionally to have that worked out in season 2, heard some people say it could be they just built the hotel over his body? But I doubt it. If so maybe he could become part of the hotel or just condemned to never leave the hotel in a.... a... ghooooost.... like form...?(Massive amounts of copium). Someone could argue his body just dissolved or something but 1. That makes no sense pookie 2. In the first episode they found the body of the dead exorcist long after it died, and we definetely know atleast it's head was still perfectly intact by episode 3. AND i also went back to check, after Lute takes the Halo they purposefully never show Adam's body, ONCE. Not once, not even as they show all the corpses on the ground as the exorcists depart. So that couldn't be it, one thing we know for sure is that Vivzie is definetely letting on there's something more to his death she doesn't want to reveal yet. It could be she's doing that just to leave it ambiguous to delusional theorists like myself,,,,,since my type of stupid is usually the kind of idiocy infectious enough to rot everyone's brain into pointless speculation based on minor details. i agree with your last post wayyyy too much. i can’t do jon snow haters or people who say that dany had every right to burn down kings landing because they k!lled her best friend. okay??? what about the thousands of innocents. she had a whole army, she could have just gone for cersei or been an actual leader and not taken revenge on her own ‘people’. like??? also if you support jamie lannister being a king slayer and k!lling aerys to save thousands of lives (which ill assume most of the fandom does) then jon did the exact same thing. yes they both ‘betrayed’ people they served but it saved thousands of lives.

my only argument in dany’s defense is she should have never gone ‘mad’. the writers should have never made her get on dragon back and burn down an entire city, but since she did, then she has got to GO.

The thing is, is that the burning of Kings Landing has been a LONG existing prediction by book readers of what Dany will do once she reaches Westeros. It has been theorized for YEARS before Benioff and Weiss were likely ever told about the books planned ending beats.

But, it won't be because she's mad. It will be a calculated move on purpose, no madness, just self righteous justification that because they didn't want her as Queen, they should die.

In the show, Dany has posed this multiple times. Dany in the show over the years does NOT hesitate to say she wants to burn cities to the ground, make her enemies die screaming, and has routinely posed situations where her options are literally bend the knee or die.

For example, this is a snippet of dialouge from season 8 after she burned Kings Landing and one million people with it.

Jon: "What about everyone else? All the other people who think they know what's good." Dany: "They don't get to choose."

This sounds extremely like something Dany says to Jorah in season 4 when he informs her that the masters have disregarded her laws almost as soon as she left Yunkai.

Dany: "He will tell the masters what has happened in Meereen. He will explain the choice they have before them. They can live in my new world or they can die in their old one."

This is the exact same scenario. You either live in Dany's world exactly as she dictates it, or you die.

There is no actual choice she is giving the masters, it is her way or death. Exactly like she plans to do to the rest of Westeros. Season 8 was not out of character.

Jorah says in this very scene that it is tempting to always see your opposition as evil, but that by always treating those who oppose you as such, it is the good and innocent who will get caught in the crossfire, and she says that she has no interest in entertaining what other people think is good and evil, she does as she sees fit.

One Barristan dies, she leads whats left of the leaders of noble houses to where her dragons are locked away, and lets one burn a man alive with abosutely no proof these men had anything to do with it as a threat that she will do the same to them. Again, with no proof that the masters or noble houses of Mereen have ANY relation to the Sons of the Harpy.

Upon a rewatch, one will find Dany says a LOT of very concerning things that foreshadow whats to come. This is going to happen, this was always going to happen. Dany was not going to burn the Red Keep, because thats the castle her family built with the throne her family created. Its the symbol of everything she wants and thinks she's entitled too.

But the people? These people who in the show and likely books, will not see kindly to this foreign occupier who uses her dragons to scare people into submission and will not yeild their Queen or King to her? Well, they are in her way. They refuse to join her new world, so they die in their old one. She doesn't need the people of one city to take the throne as long as theres still a throne to sit upon.

Dany routinely sees evil in her enemies with no grey area. Jon, otherwise is a man who looked his enemy in the eye (lord commander of the nights watch who betrayed them as a spy up against the wildlings he spied on and defeated in battle), and said (paraphrasing) "We don't have to be friends, but you, your children, and your children's children all deserve to survive. Let me protect you."

When everyone hated him for it. But he did it because it was the right thing to do. Jon has always given men at their worst chances at redemption. Thats what the Nights Watch is, so many of them were criminals, murderers, rapists, but Jon lets them prove they are better then their worst parts and only punishes with due justice when they commit the re offending behavior. Jon doesn't kill Karl Tanner in a brutal way beacuse he likes it, he only killed him like that when his back was turned, because Karl was about to kill the innocent girl who helped Jon by stabbing Karl in the back when he had Jon pinned.

Dany has no right to burn down Kings Landing, there is no excuse for it. But she will not beacuse she is forced too, or by accident, or through madness. No, it will be a calculated, purposeful decision that she will choose to do this, because thats how she has chosen to commit every atrocity she's ever done, which when you tally it up, is shocking and disturbingly high.

It was a massacre of extreme proportions that she was proud of. Wheras Jon felt extreme guilt for not saving every free folk when the army of the dead massacred Hardhome, when that was completely out of his control or power, and when he still in fact, saved over 5000 lives of what was supposed to be his greatest enemy.

The completely unbelievable joke of a romance aside, the Jon we know would not have hesitated to kill her. That is one million lives she murdered in the most brutal fashion because she didn't get what she wanted.

But we know why Jon would want to kill her for it, beacuse she answered the very question he posed in season five in the most terrifying way possible.

Jon: "Isn't their survival more important than your pride?"

Dany said no, and massacred the very same people Jon has been trying to save for years. I was being factious when I said Jon should've killed her harder, but it's still true. Dany in the show became exactly what the books are leading up to. But people were tricked through the framing that beacuse Dany thinks shes the world's main character, that she's always in the right, when she very often isn't.

It was always coming, and it was never out of character, beacuse Dany was always this way. At the burning of Kings Landing, she finally just allowed herself to be honest about it.

Jon was right to kill her for committing the exact mass slaughter that Jaime killed Aerys II for being about to commit.

For making a fangan, should you always aim for gimmicky deaths? I was in love for what you did for [Body Discovery 4] and I'm really hoping to replicate it in my writing. But, when does doing it so many times get oversaturated? How should a hypothetical formula go if you're going to write in deaths?

i may need clarification on what you mean by gimmicky

personally i just write deaths with whatever feeling im trying to invoke in that given moment! everyone has an individual context surrounding their deaths, so while the emotions theyre meant to invoke might be similar, they should have little distinctions.

for example, with isono's death, i very much wanted it to be jarring. thats why we didnt use any alt sprites before the death - i didnt want people to even know that alt sprites were an option. isono's death is meant to be an ice cold hand to the neck because this hasnt happened before and now someone is dead.

with kamimura's offscreen BDA, i was trying to invoke a sense of dread. we know people can die now so theres no need for that same shock from ch1. the AC turning off is meant to invoke a thought process of quick realization. a "huh? what? oh shit." kind of feeling when you realize that theres only one reason the AC would turn off

just focus on what you're trying to invoke with each scene!

GOJO SEIJI could not, for the life of him, find a way to make sure that y/n will love him in future reincarnations. In other words, he was left with a single option. To make sure this never happens again.

Granted, it would be difficult to ensure that y/n falls in love with him in every life. Not to mention that it is never simple when it comes to finding her either.

However, in every single life, he manages to find her, or she accidentally finds him. Both incidents are by chance, of course, but the chances are never zero.

So, how to deal with the current situation...

The answer was obvious. The two of them simply have to start over. Gojo hates starting over, but what other option does he have? Sukuna has touched her. Sure, her innocence is still in tact, but it won't be for long. Sukuna definitely comes off as the impatient type.

"Master?"

He turned in his chair and focused on the door. A smile coming to his face, she's here.

Despite her getting married to someone that wasn't him. He couldn't bring himself to be mad at her. In fact, he blames this whole mess on himself. Truthfully, he should of snatched her up the moment she walked right through the door when they first met.

He won't make the same mistake again.

"Come in."

Standing up, and making sure his clothes were in order, y/n came in a moment later and closed the door behind her.

"Master, I'm sure you're already aware, but I'm afraid I'll be leaving the Gojo estate in a few days, so.. if you want.. would you like to start looking for a new maid to assist you?"

His eyes scanned her for a moment. Completely and utterly enraptured by her mere presence.

"Of course. Though it'll be a shame to lose you."

Y/n smiled and shook her head, "I'm honestly not that good of a maid."

"Nonsense, if you were terrible, I would of kicked you out a long time ago."

That was a lie. Gojo would have never done that. He would of held onto her that much tighter. The mere thought of throwing her out sickens him.

Because in every single life she lived, she didn't get a happy ending. Even when she was reborn as his granddaughter.. at the end of it all. She had to die.

Just like how she has to die now.

She was in love with another man. Is being tainted by another man's touch. The two of them have to start over. Its the only way for things to be set right.

"You're always so kind to me, Master."

He felt his jaw clench, "that so?"

"Yes, I love him very much!"

"Does he do anything for you?"

She paused and frowned a little. Head tilting to the side as she thought over his question, "what do you mean?"

"What i mean is... what does he do for you? How did you fall in love with him?"

"Oh! Well thats easy! He's super nice to me, sure he was mean when we were kids, but all that changed when we got super close! He is always there for me and beats anyone up that messes with me! And .. how I fell in love with him ..," Gojo's eyes darkened at the lovestruck look on her face. How could she talk about another man like this?! Why can't she remember her past lives with him?! Why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why-

"Master?"

Her gentle touch made his senses go on overdrive when she laid a hand on his arm. Her eyes filled with worry.

"Are you alright? Are you not feeling well?"

He raised his hand and cupped her cheek. His form bending down to her height slightly so his lips could press down onto her forehead.

"Yeah, I'm feeling just fine. And don't worry y/n...I'll set everything right."

"What the fuck did you do?!"

Gojo faced Sukuna, arms crossed as the latter fumed and raged like a child having lost something dear to them.

"I did nothing, i have just come here to inform you that there has been an accident and that you're wife has passed-"

Gojo tilted his head to the side, easily dodging a blast of cursed energy directed his way.

"So angry. Her loss is terrible. But we all must move on."

Sukuna cracked his knuckles, "or maybe you were just too pissed that she wasn't yours so you went ahead and killed her."

Gojo made no move to enter a fighting stance. He merely continued to look down at the man. Eyes devoid of any emotion.

"I would never kill her. At least not with reason."

"The hell is that supposed to mean?!"

"Simple, I didn't kill her, I merely see it as me fixing what has been wronged in this life. A mere accident that won't ever happen again."

"Gojo..."

Gojo turned to leave the man, but before he left, he looked over his shoulder, "oh, so I won't forget, I'll just tell you now. In her next life, stay away from her."

Sukuna didn't have time to ask what the man meant by that, as Gojo was already gone.

And as his words started to sink, Sukuna finally understood.

"Sick son of a bitch."

i have just had a fucking devastating thought

it was just the thought that if dazai and chuuya were ever falling from a building or something, or say if something moriarty the patriot style happened, the only two options (once it was too late) for chuuya would be to save himself, or to save neither. there is literally no option to save dazai. in a mtp style situation, yeah, thats different.

but if they were both falling from a building/high place and were just falling?

chuuya literally only has two options.

on a surface level, only two.

save himself, or save nobody.

its like... symbolism for the two of them and this is devastating for two reasons: one, it means that chuuya is so selfless and loyal to a fault that his fight or flight responses are "me or everyone/nobody" like... does that make sense? he can die with dazai, or let dazai die alone. i dont know. I DONT KNOW. theres so much to unpack. and two: for dazai, it means that hes going to drag everyone down with him. nobody can even try to save him because its impossible to. its a reminder of how much of a "burden" dazai and his ability are (hes not lmao just what he probably thinks is what im saying) your only options are to fall with him, or leave him be, and dazais thought process would ofc be thinking that everyone would choose the latter, conflicting with chuuyas loyalty and compassionate nature to choose the former.

You have summoned me in my favorite subject: 🎉🎉🎉🎉 FRIENDSHIP!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Take a sit because this is going to be long, so long i may end up dividing into different posts!

Okey so sadly we don't have a lot of info of the full group dynamic besides some clues and what we know is them literally at their worst thinking they we're going to die in a meteor,after a full one month campaign in the game they had won yet was taken from them being chased by an undefeatable enemy that destroyed their planets and probably their lusus too. And at the end three of them going on a rampage and killing the rest of the team

So not the most reliable info of how their normal dynamic as a friendgroup would be, but tbh it could never be "healthy friendgroup" in a human sense because, well, they live in Alternia.

But even in hell, the flower of friendship can blossom, so lets talk about the fucked up friendship between these kids:

We know little about how their friendship started, contrary with the Beta Kids that we know because of June's birthday presente for Jade arriving in the past to young Jade with her pesterchum and her probably looking at the clouds in Prospit and seeing there the pesterchum of Rose and Dave following suit

Because the Beta Trolls are a much bigger group and we dont really know if they actually celebrate their wriggling days, as none of the trolls mentioned it but it could also be in part because of Karkat's disdain for the celebration or them maybe not knowing because he is a very private kid after all

Maybe Kanaya was the first troll that befriended all of them, like Jade was and both of them being the assigned Space player of their group and the first ones to wake in Prospit, but i also doubt that considered she didnt went through the birthday gift shenanigan that young Jade went through

So what most likely happened: The trolls who we're closest to eachother (Equius and Vriska, Eridan and Feferi, Aradia and Tavros, Terezi and Vriska* (not totally sure about that one) and maybe Sollux and Aradia/Feferi) befriended eachother first and meet the rest (Karkat, Nepeta, Gamzee, Kanaya) online and just shared their info between eachother.

I honestly wonder who thought of the idea of all sharing their Trollian between eachother, maybe Feferi? maybe it just happened overtime? but what matters right now is the

F R I E N D S H I P

So today we will talk about the underrated friendships between the group

Starting with Aradia and Tavros! Both members of Team Charge, i see very few people talk about them as friends even though they were obviously very close considering they we're part of a Flarp campaign together.

Both seem to match pretty well personality wise, both adventurous and wanting to have fun in the game, Aradia knows that Tavros picked a hard class for himself yet she still encourages him and tries to cheer him on and advice him in the case of Vriska trying to get under his skin.

When Vriska starts to surrond him, she tries to communicate with her first, but sadly she and terezi where distracted by Doc Scratch, so he gets paralized

Side note: After Aradia and Terezi, his third option for asking for help is Karkat, which is...interesting, they dont talk a lot but when they do its Tavros trying to get advice/help from him (2 out of 3 convos), so either Karkat and Tavros have more convos besides the ones showed (very likely) or Karkat just having a reputation of helping with issues that he is the first one who comes to Tavros's mind

also Karkat calling him bro is so fucking funny cdbhd, idk if its sarcasm or if its genuine like with Eridan but he seems worried for a little before going on a rant about how stupid this is, only to come back trying to advice him to do this in private (also he winks at him as GTavrossprite but thats smt for the Tavkat shippers)

Anyway, back to Aradia, after her death we dont know about their relationship that much, we know that the whole reason that this whole revenge cycle was because Aradia wanted to avenge Tavros

But after her death, we don't know if they talk or if Tavros even knows she is dead, as it was mostly secret that only Sollux, Vriska, Terezi and Equius seem to know,

What we know is that Aradia keeps Tavros close to her heart, as the only reason she didnt straight up kill Vriska is

Because he was there to see it

And thats all the info we have of their relationship while Aradia was a robot, is more than likely Tavros confronted Vriska (besides creating Bec Noir) because Aradiabot had just exploded and he was blaming her for that too (especulation)

Their post-death/revival shows them having the same relationship pre-aradia's death, after they find eachother in the afterlife

Staying with Tavros, another friendship people dont seem to talk a lot about is Kanaya and Tavros, which tbh, we dont have a conversation on screen between them, but we know they talk and Kanaya tries to mediate to help him when Vriska is bullying him

And also, even after she cut Vriska out because of the whole ''Having a crush on her but finding out she has a crush on Tavros'' (probably because she was sulking) she seems to have a fine relationship with Tavros, as she made a Tinkerbull plushie for him

To other friendships, Kanaya and Feferi! Another group of trolls with very few coversations, but we can easily tell in those that they cared for eachother

They have a lot in common, being of the few trolls who woked up in their moons before the game, having a huge responsability as their lusus can either kill or revive their entire civilization, being in a unhappy moiralliagance (with their cases kinda mirroring eachother, with Feferi not wanting to be in any quadrants while Eridan wants to change them, while Kanaya wants to change quadrants while Vriska seems to be fine with where they are) and knowing their lusus were going to die when they were 13

Feferi and Kanaya seem to have very a similar relationship as Karkat and Eridan, where they advise eachother about their moirals + possible romantic relationships. And their very contrasting personalities helps them balance eachother out

Feferi is even comfortable enough to invite Kanaya to the horn pile and knowing Kanaya's expressions enough to guess that she is nervous about coming off as meddling with them

After Feferi gets killed off, Kanaya is already ready to attack, only waiting to see what Eridan is planning to do, attack her first or trying to escape

If it weren't for Kanaya distracting herself with the matriorb, and Eridan inmediately picking on this opportunity

To piss her off enough to set her off and attack him first

So she is an easier target that he can kill her off without a fight

Speaking about this two, next time we will to talk about the complicated (annoying) friendship between these two, why next time? because this post is already getting to fucking long!

so another thing thats had me taking it easier with missing numbers is doing some... research for Memento Mori, you could say.

basically: ive been doing a nuzlocke with some custom rules (ive dubbed it morilocke) through Pokemon X to create/stimulate the playthrough that the player will be experiencing! and Boy the story beats sure do write themselves.

if anyone wants to put themself through this painful run built for hyper specific story purposes, my ruleset is under the cut!

Pokemon die when fainting. There is no saving them. Memento Mori. (Unless...)

Only catch the first Pokemon encountered on a route (duplicates must be bypassed until a new pokemon appears, though). Rock Smash, Surfing, and Fishing encounters are their own thing, and all gift pokemon are acceptable.

However, on the chance you encounter a shiny, not only can you catch it, but it must join your party.

All Pokemon must be nicknamed.

Sell/Discard all manual HP healing items. In Memento Mori, they don't work. Pokemon can only heal at a Pokemon center. There is no limit on Pokemon center usage. (This only applies to manual use items like Potions. Passive items like Leftovers, and any healing move, are allowed. Status condition cures are allowed ONLY outside of battle.)

this hurts my heart, but no Pokemon Amie. this would make the nuzlocke so much harder for me emotionally and easier battle-wise. i value my sanity. Super training is allowed.

i. do not want to start an entire pokemon game from scratch if i lose fully. so i simply will not. The team will still be "dead" - they must be replaced by either boxed Pokemon, or, if that's not an option, revisit the nearest previous route and add the first encounter upon return (duplicate clause not applying. if you get another pidgey you get a pidgey bitch). in the story, whiteouts are a death of the player character- while not effecting gameplay, if i experience one, i will note the Pokemon I lost to for........ design purposes.

Upon the death of a Pokemon, the Pokemon replacing it in your party (or most recently caught if party is not full) can be leveled up to match the level of the lowest level member of your party. because i hate grinding.

Ghosts don't die. They rest. If a ghost-type party member faints, it bypasses the death rule- technically. However, it cannot be removed from the Graveyard until another Pokemon of equal value to you dies and takes its place. (No worming around this by sacraficing an early game pokemon you don't use. Give up something you love if you want it back so badly.)

Xerneas is a permanent member of the team upon capture. If it faints, it stays in the party but is unusuable. Memento Mori.

bonus for getting all the way down here: the attempt to make the stranger's outfit in-game, and our team as of writing this post

( ... an optional 11th rule as a small mercy that ive utilized. a pokemon can be brought back for a price, only if the fallen pokemon has Maxed friendship. if you're willing to commit, revive the pokemon and return it to the front of your party. then, go on to where you'd get your next catch. regardless of what the pokemon you encounter is, that will be your sacrifice. kill it, or capture it and send it to the Graveyard. this action replaces the allowed catch for the area you encountered it in. the pokemon you revive will come back Wrong; Quiet nature, illegally shiny, sick, and Perish Song will be one of its moves Permanently. )
